It's Your Time to Shine!

If you submitted a registration then you should receive an email from oz@theatremuskoka.ca with the following information on Saturday Sept 13th. If you have not yet submitted a registration, then it's not too late. Click here to register your interest as either cast, crew, or both.

Please bring a recent headshot and a copy of your resume if you have them.

Auditions will be held on Wednesday September 17th and Saturday September 20th. We shall do our best to honour your preference on your application. We have broken the 2 audition sessions down into 1-hour blocks, and you will shortly receive an email advising you of your audition block time. Please ensure that you arrive a few minutes before the time so that we can get you booked in.

Auditions will be held on the theatre stage at the Rene M. Caisse Memorial Theatre, 100 Clearbrook Trail, Bracebridge, P1L 0A3. Access is available through the main front doors.

Upon arrival, please follow the signs and report to the Green Room for registration. Please DO NOT enter the theatre auditorium until called.

For the audition itself, we will require the following, both derived from the Golden Age of musical theatre:

1. Performance of an accompanied song in the musical theatre genre. This song does NOT need to be from this show.

2. Reading of a monologue of your choosing.

Note that accompaniment can be either live with sheet music or from pre-recorded media. A piano will be available, with Earl Sacrey kindly offering his services. Feel free to bring your own accompanist if you prefer. Alternatively, a powered speaker will be available that supports both Bluetooth and 3.5mm headphone jack connections.
